Eleusizov intends to launch environmental party

Mels Eleusizov, now an ex presidential candidate, plans to form an environmental party, Tengrinews.kz reports. Today, April 4, he met journalists in Astana. “I still plan to raise environment issues. I have brought them to a higher level and I am not going to get relaxed with that”, he said.“I realized the time had come to launch an environmentalist party. I didn’t think of it earlier the general public was not interested”, he said. Mr. Eleusizov reiterated that the presidential elections had been fair and free. “It was a fair competition”, he summed up. According to Central Election Commission (CEC), Mr. Eleusizov gained 1.2% of the votes.
