Tengrinews.kz – Kazakhstani seismologists recorded an earthquake with its epicenter located within the country, 323 kilometers southwest of Almaty, during the night, according to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The seismic tremor was detected by the network of seismic stations on March 28 at 3:42 AM Astana time.

The estimated intensity (on the MSK scale) was: Merke village – 5 points, Kulan village – 4 points, the city of Shu, the city of Taraz, the villages of Tole Bi, Sarykemer, Kordai, Asa, and Moyinkum – 2 points.
No reports of casualties or damage have been received.
