Tengrinews.kz – An earthquake was recorded in East Kazakhstan Region, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The National Nuclear Center’s seismic monitoring network confirmed the tremor on July 23.

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.2 and occurred approximately 84 kilometers south of Ust-Kamenogorsk (Oskemen).
