Earthquake recorded in Zhetysu Region

Tengrinews.kz - An earthquake has been recorded in the Zhetysu region.

Seismologists detected the tremors using the seismic station network of the National Center for Seismic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on October 2 at 15:16 Astana time.

"The epicenter of the earthquake is located in Kazakhstan, 235 kilometers northeast of Almaty. The estimated intensity (on the scale) is non-perceptible," the report states.
