Tengrinews.kz – An earthquake occurred in the Zhetysu region, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The tremors were recorded by the network of seismic stations of the LLP “National Scientific Center for Seismological Research and Information” on November 26 at 07:15 AM Astana time.

“The epicenter of the earthquake is located on the territory of Kazakhstan, 160 kilometers northeast of Almaty,” the statement said.

The earthquake, with a magnitude of 2, was felt in the village of Saryozek. No reports of casualties or damage have been received.
