The center reported a magnitude of 4, with the epicenter located at a depth of 46 kilometers.

"The epicenter coordinates are 41.54 degrees north latitude and 49.98 degrees east longitude. Magnitude – mb=4. Energy class – K=10.9. Depth – h=11 kilometers," the Kazakhstan Data Center stated.

According to the publication sfera.az, the earthquake occurred in Azerbaijani waters of the Caspian Sea.
