Tengrinews.kz - Kazakhstan seismologists registered an earthquake, the epicenter of which was located in the Atyrau region.
According to operational data from the Kazakhstan National Data Center, tremors were registered on April 10 at 1:40 AM Astana time. The epicenter was located 120 kilometers southeast of the city of Kulsary.
The magnitude of the earthquake was 4.3. Energy class - 9.1.
No information about casualties or damage was received.
On March 31, earthquake occurred 178 kilometers from Almaty. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the seismic network of the National Scientific Center for Seismological Observations and Research registered the earthquake on March 31 at 12:25 p.m. Astana time.
"The epicenter of the earthquake is located on the territory of Kyrgyzstan, 178 kilometers southwest of Almaty," the report states.
