Earthquake hits Zhetysu region

Tengrinews.kz — Seismologists have recorded an earthquake in the Zhetysu Region.

According to operational data from the Kazakhstan Data Center, the earthquake occurred on March 31 at 00:42 Astana time. The epicenter of the tremors was located 33 kilometers northwest of the city of Zharkent.

The earthquake had a magnitude of 4.4. There have been no reports of it being felt in Kazakhstan.
