Tengrinews.kz – Meteorologists from Kazhydromet have released the weather forecast for November 1, 2, 3, and 4.
According to the forecasters, the warm anticyclone that had been bringing dry and sunny weather is now leaving the country. It will be replaced by a northern cyclone, which will bring precipitation and a noticeable cold snap.
Snow and blizzards expected in the north and east
The cyclone, fueled by cold air masses, will quickly move across Kazakhstan, causing rain turning into snow. By November 4, snowfall—sometimes heavy—as well as blizzards, gusty winds, and icy conditions are expected in northern and eastern regions.
Air temperatures will drop significantly:
- At night: from –5°C to –13°C;
- During the day: from –3°C to –11°C.
Cold front to reach southern regions
The cold front will also affect southern Kazakhstan. After rain and wet snow on November 4, temperatures there will also fall:
- At night: down to –13°C;
- During the day: no higher than +5°C.
