Tengrinews.kz - Rescuers in Semey stepped in to protect children and parents after crows began aggressively attacking anyone approaching a kindergarten.

The incident took place outside a kindergarten on Street No. 20. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), a baby crow had fallen from its nest onto the kindergarten’s front steps. Its parents became aggressive, attacking anyone who came near in an attempt to protect their young.

A response team from the regional department of emergency situations was dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers carefully picked up the fledgling and moved it to a safe distance away from the building, later releasing it back into the wild.

The operation was carried out quickly and without incident. MES officials in Semey noted that access to the kindergarten is now safe for both children and parents.
