Tengrinews.kz - Patrol officers in Aktobe have been trained to use special devices - net guns - for detaining offenders, according to the police department's press service.
The Aktobe police now have net guns, which are designed for the safe detention of criminals and the humane capture of animals. Recently, the Department of Special and Mobilization Training unit conducted a training session for patrol officers on the use of these net guns.
"Regardless of the nature and conditions of the tasks being addressed, the activities of law enforcement agencies in the country are based on principles of strict respect for and adherence to human and citizen rights, legality, and humanism. The ability to act from a distance without direct contact provides greater safety guarantees," said Almat Imangaliyev, Deputy Head of the Department of Special and Mobilization Training.
Previously, a married couple was detained during a special operation in Almaty.
