Tengrinews.kz - The head of the Land Administration Department of the Turkestan region has been detained on suspicion of corruption, citing the Anti-Corruption Agency press office.
According to the agency, he is suspected of receiving a bribe of one million tenge from a resident of Turkestan in exchange for assistance in processing state certificates for land plots.
“By court order, the suspect was taken into custody on June 28, 2025. Other information is not subject to disclosure in the interests of the investigation in accordance with Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code,” the Anti-Corruption Agency's press office added.
