Tengrinews.kz - The President of Kazakhstan took part in the official opening ceremony of the headquarters of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), which took place in Astana, citing Akorda.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and CICA Secretary General Kairat Sarybay unveiled a commemorative plaque at the organization’s main office. Afterward, an honor guard unit raised the CICA flag.

The Head of State toured the new headquarters, including the working offices, an open space area, the interpreters’ office, the chairmanship hall, and the museum-library space.

The Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia is an international forum that unites countries across the Asian continent. Its mission is to strengthen relations and cooperation among Asian and Eurasian states to ensure stability and security in the region.
On July 2, under the chairmanship of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, another meeting of the Security Council was held. The meeting reviewed key trends in internal and external migration, and heard reports from Deputy Prime Minister Yermek Kosherbayev, as well as the ministers of Internal Affairs, Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry, and Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
