What items are prohibited on trains?

There is a specific list of items banned from being transported on passenger trains:

  • Explosive devices and substances, including pyrotechnics (such as fireworks and firecrackers).
  • Radioactive and narcotic substances, and flammable liquids and materials like gasoline, methyl ether, and methanol.
  • Flammable solid substances.
  • Toxic, potent, and poisonous substances, whether in liquid or solid form.
  • Infectious or biologically hazardous materials, and any items containing them.
  • All types of firearms, including projectile, electric, mechanical, combined, non-barreled, traumatic, and gas weapons, as well as blunt and bladed weapons like batons, sabers, cleavers, yataghans, broadswords, swords, rapiers, bayonets, daggers, dirks, stilettos, brass knuckles, and flails.
