The last month of autumn 2024 in Kazakhstan will pass without any state or national holidays, so residents will only have weekends off. The number of days off in November will depend on the workweek: those with a five-day schedule will have nine days off, while those with a six-day workweek will only have four.
In November 2024, people in Kazakhstan who work a five-day week will have the following days off: November 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, and 30. For those with a six-day workweek, the days off will only be on Sundays: November 3, 10, 17, and 24. Saturdays will remain working days for them.
Despite the absence of public holidays, November is rich in professional observances celebrated across various industries:
- November 5 – Foreign Intelligence Service Day;
- November 8 – Statistics Day;
- November 10 – Digitalization and Information Technologies Workers' Day;
- November 15 – Day of employees of the financial system of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- November 16 (third Saturday in November) – Driller's Day;
- November 17 (third Sunday in November) – Day of workers of agriculture, food and processing industry;
- November 18 – Day of anti-corruption service agencies.
In addition to professional holidays, November also includes several important festive dates:
- November 11 – Energy Saving Day, when society focuses on the rational use of energy resources;
- November 15 – National Currency Day (Tenge), symbolizing Kazakhstan's financial independence, celebrated since 1993.
