The regional police have opened a criminal case in connection with the accident.
“It has been established that on September 12, the driver of a Yutong Bus, while making a maneuver to turn at the 25th kilometer of the Almaty-Bishkek road, lost control of the steering wheel, collided with the guardrail, and then fell off the bridge onto the rear of a Mercedes Benz Sprinter. At the time of the accident, the bus driver was sober, and there were no casualties,” said the Almaty region police department.
Other terrible traffic accident involving six cars occurred in Karaganda. One person died in the crash.
