Tengrinews.kz — The trash streamer Mellstroy (Belarusian citizen Andrey Burim), known for streaming gambling content, is reportedly wanted by Interpol. The blogger himself said this during a stream on the Kick platform, citing The Insider.
Mellstroy claimed that he is currently in the Republic of Cyprus and cannot leave. According to him, the Interpol request was initiated by Kazakhstan in connection with a case involving the organization of an illegal casino.
“There is still no independent confirmation of this information; Burim’s name could not be found in Interpol’s database,” the outlet notes.
In November, Kazakhstan placed the streamer on an international wanted list and arrested him in absentia under an article related to illegal gambling operations. The trigger was an advertising campaign for the casino Mellstroy.game, which also targeted citizens of Kazakhstan. A reward was offered for information about the blogger’s whereabouts, but The Agency for Financial Monitoring (AFM) did not disclose the amount.
Around the same time, Mellstroy’s videos and logos were recognized as extremist materials in Belarus. Law enforcement said the blogger had incited viewers to hooliganism and violation of public order.
In 2024, the streamer was declared wanted in Russia, allegedly for evading conscription into the Belarusian army. Later, the Telegram channel Mash reported that the streamer and his family were suspected of money laundering and tax evasion.
