Maksat Kaliakparov reminded that the initial preliminary results for the first three months had already been fully presented by the relevant commission. A deeper investigation is now underway, involving complex expert analyses. According to Kaliakparov, this is a labor-intensive process, and once it is completed, the final report will be presented to the media.

“We cannot provide an exact date right now. It is a very serious matter, so I cannot guarantee a specific day. But by the end of the year we will issue a press release,” the deputy minister said.

To recap, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by AZAL, flying from Baku to Grozny, crashed on the morning of December 25, 2024, near Aktau in western Kazakhstan. On board were 67 people, including five crew members. Thirty-eight were killed, and 29 survived.
