"Emergency responders rescued and brought to shore six teenagers aged 17 to 19 who had ventured out on a homemade raft made of plastic cubes and were unable to return," reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.

Initially, there were six boys on the raft. A man on a sapboard saw that they were in trouble, moved to them on the raft and tried to pass to the shore. And then the rescuers arrived.

The rescued boys did not require medical attention.
