Recently, we reported on Bobby Bolton from England and Marie Delaval from France, who have been exploring the world in their converted MAN truck for over a year and visited Almaty in July. Now, Kazakhstan has welcomed Keith Sinclair, a young man from the USA who embarked on an exciting adventure across Europe and Asia in his Dodge Challenger muscle car.

Recently, we reported on Bobby Bolton from England and Marie Delaval from France, who have been exploring the world in their converted MAN truck for over a year and visited Almaty in July. Now, Kazakhstan has welcomed Keith Sinclair, a young man from the USA who embarked on an exciting adventure across Europe and Asia in his Dodge Challenger muscle car.
Keith’s journey began in northern France, where he shipped his car from America. His main goal was the Pamir mountain in Tajikistan. After crossing 18 countries and over 32,000 kilometers in his purple Challenger V8, he arrived in Almaty and participated in a car festival at the Medeu skating rink.

"I'm from New Mexico, but I currently live in New Hampshire. Our motto is "Live Free or Die." I've already traveled across the States in my car and believe that the Dodge Challenger is perfect for long trips: powerful, comfortable, and spacious. Sometimes I sleep right in the driver’s seat or in a hammock that I attach to the tow hitch. Sleeping outdoors is amazing, especially in good weather," Keith shared.

For five and a half months, Keith covered thousands of kilometers, but his journey was not only a physical challenge but also a cultural exploration. According to him, one of the most memorable moments happened in Tajikistan.
"The Pamir Highway in Tajikistan was a real test for me and my Dodge: the bumper fell off, and the clutch failed. My car broke down in a small village, and the locals took me in and cared for me even when I had no money. An Egyptian helped me by towing my muscle car with an old Soviet truck. It was incredible," Keith shared.

By the way, in Tajikistan, Keith also met travelers Bobby Bolton and Marie Delaval.
On his journey, Keith faced numerous challenges, particularly related to road quality and fuel availability.
"Driving a muscle car with a low clearance and a requirement for 95 octane fuel, it's important to consider the route and the availability of fuel. Initially, I planned to travel through western Uzbekistan, but the road quality and fuel shortage forced me to choose the northern route through Kazakhstan. Here, the fuel quality and availability are much better," Keith said.

Speaking about his journey through Kazakhstan, Keith highlights the special warmth and openness of the people— even the police, according to him, stop out of curiosity and to find out where he's coming from.

"As for the roads, it seems to me that people think they're worse than they actually are. The roads in western Kazakhstan are really bad. From Atyrau to Aktobe, they are terrible for my car. But overall, the roads are good. But the most important thing is the people! You can feel the love and hospitality!" Keith shared.

Keith has repeatedly noted that his car attracts attention in every country. However, for him, this journey carries a deeper meaning. On the back of his car is the phrase "Love Everyone" written in 18 languages.

"For me, this is an important message. We often judge people and cultures that we don't know. But we all have similar dreams. We need to love everyone, even those we don't know. Before the trip, people told me I was crazy and that the countries I planned to visit were dangerous. But I found out that wasn't the case! My message is to love everyone, especially those you don't know, and to fight ignorance," Keith emphasized.
