The preliminary report published following the investigation into the crash of the Baku-Grozny flight states that medical and pathological examinations are still ongoing. The final report will include these results. In early January, the Ministry of Transport announced that the investigation is expected to be completed within 12 months. The expert team is working daily.
Furthermore, experts are examining survival factors and continuing necessary studies, the results of which will also be included in the final report.
As a reminder: in January, Vice Prime Minister Marat Karabayev stated that the preliminary results of the investigation into the aviation incident would be made public within a month of the crash. The aircraft fell near Aktau on December 25, 2024.
