Tengrinews.kz – Firefighting efforts are underway at a one-story building on Makataev Street in Almalinsky District, Almaty, with an elevated response level, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) press service.
An operational headquarters has been deployed at the scene.
“An operational headquarters has been set up on-site, with four fire sectors organized. Fire hoses have been directed onto the roof and around the perimeter of the building. Emergency services are coordinating their actions at the scene. The situation is under control,” the ministry reported.
No information on casualties has been received. The fire has been localized, the MES said.
Later, the ministry announced that the fire had been extinguished over an area of 150 square meters, with no injuries reported.
