Woman unable to descend Mount Kokshetau due to disorientation

Tengrinews.kz - Rescuers helped a tourist descend from Mount Kokshetau after she sustained injuries, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The woman had climbed Mount Kokshetau in the Burabay District but was unable to come down on her own.

“Due to her injuries and disorientation, she couldn’t descend by herself. Rescuers helped her down and handed her over to an ambulance crew,” the ministry said.

Rescue officials urged Kazakhstani citizens to follow safety precautions when visiting the mountain.

Earlier, a woman was injured after a paragliding flight at the Shymbulak Resort.
