Tengrinews.kz – Officers from the Organized Crime Control Department have detained two men in Almaty, seizing firearms from them, according to 24.kz.

Tengrinews.kz – Officers from the Organized Crime Control Department have detained two men in Almaty, seizing firearms from them, according to 24.kz.

According to the city’s police department, the arrest followed an incident in the Ozhet neighborhood, where unknown individuals opened fire on a car. The shooting was captured on video.

The suspects are currently held in a temporary detention facility, and a criminal case has been initiated by the police department of the Turksib district. Details of the incident and further investigative steps are still being clarified.
