Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with the leadership of the National Security Committee (NSC), citing Akorda.
During his visit to the NSC, the Head of State was briefed on the work of operational and technical units.
“The President was shown the agency’s capabilities in ensuring cybersecurity, as well as projects related to the development of government and secure communications and artificial intelligence technologies,” the Akorda press service stated.
At the meeting, after hearing reports, Tokayev emphasized the importance of countering information security threats and ensuring the stable functioning of the country’s critical infrastructure.
Following the discussions, the President assigned several specific tasks to enhance efforts in this area.
Earlier, President Tokayev took part in the national flag-raising ceremony in Astana.
