According to the Ministry, in 2016, the man, as part of a group, illegally entered a house and used violence to seize property worth more than 4 million tenge.
"The detainee is currently in custody pending a decision on his extradition to our country," the statement from the ministry said.
Earlier, a Kazakhstani woman has been extradited from Turkey, suspected of embezzlement on a large scale, according to the Prosecutor General's Office. It is reported that between 2022 and 2023, while working as an accountant for a commercial organization in Almaty, the suspect embezzled approximately 27 million tenge by falsifying payment orders.
