Tengrinews.kz – National Security Committee made an arrest in Abai region.
According to NSC, the arrest took place on January 28 with the assistance of the prosecutor's office and police. The man was spreading extremist ideas, including through social networks.
"He is suspected of promoting terrorism, including through social networks. During the investigative actions, material evidence was seized. A pre-trial investigation is underway under Part 2 of Article 256 of the Criminal Code," the department reported.
Additional details are not being disclosed in the interests of the investigation.
