Tengrinews.kz - Deputy Prime Minister Tamara Duisenova explained how pensions and benefits will change in 2025 in Kazakhstan.

Tengrinews.kz - Deputy Prime Minister Tamara Duisenova explained how pensions and benefits will change in 2025 in Kazakhstan.

As the Deputy Prime Minister reported, this year an additional 700 billion tenge will be allocated for social payments, including pensions and benefits.

"All types of social payments are increasing at the inflation rate by 6.5%, solidarity pensions will increase by 2%, plus 8.5%. We have additional social support, targeted social assistance by local executive bodies continues, housing assistance will continue," Duisenova said.

In addition, according to the Deputy Prime Minister, in 2025 the amount of payments for participants in state employment programs will increase.

"As for active employment measures - social jobs, community service, youth internships - they are all being preserved, and the number of payments for them are being increased," added Tamara Duisenova.

Earlier, the minimum salary and MCI were updated in Kazakhstan as of January 1, 2025.
