Tengrinews.kz – The Turkestan regional akimat has provided an update on the condition of those injured in the fire at a private home that claimed the lives of 12 people.
It is reported that three victims have been taken to medical facilities: two adults and one child.
“All of them are in the intensive care unit, and their condition is assessed as severe but stable. The patients are receiving a full range of intensive therapy, and their condition is under the constant supervision of specialized medical staff,” the statement said.
Emergency medical services have been placed on an enhanced work schedule. Additional specialists have been sent from regional healthcare institutions, and necessary medical and psychological support has been provided.
As a reminder, the tragedy occurred on the morning of November 18 in the village of Algabas in the Zhetysai district. The fire in a private home claimed the lives of 12 people, including nine children. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed condolences and instructed the government and the regional akim to provide all necessary assistance to the victims’ families and investigate the cause of the tragedy.
