The airport's press service announced the early completion of repairs to the runway.

"Work that began on May 1, 2024, and was scheduled to last until December 24, has now been completed, and the airport will resume operations on the runway as usual starting from October 5, 2024, at 01:00 UTC," said airport representatives.

They also noted that while some repair work remains unfinished, it will not affect flight schedules.

"During the conducted works, the asphalt surface of the taxiway covering an area of 26,746.64 square meters was replaced, as well as the runway surface covering 53,920 square meters.
