Tengrinews.kz - The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on the results of work in the area of migration control for the first half of the year.
This year more than 47 thousand foreigners were brought to administrative responsibility for violation of migration rules, which is twice as much as in the same period last year.
"Six thousand foreigners have been expelled from the country. They have been closed entry for five years," the agency said.
Two thousand employers have been fined for illegally hiring foreign labour.
Among permanently residing foreigners, two thousand violators were identified and their residence permits were cancelled.
