This time, in the Kosbarmak area of the Irgiz district in the Aktobe region, two residents of the Kyzylorda region were detained. The incident occurred on September 21 during a raid by staff from the Ministry of Ecology and the Irgiz district police.
"320 horns, presumably of saiga antelopes, and two units smoothbore weapons were found and confiscated from the detainees," stated the Forestry and Wildlife Committee.

Additionally, on September 22, another poaching case was recorded during a raid by employees of "Production Association "Okhotzooprom" and police officers from the Aytekebi district
"During a vehicle inspection at the 965th kilometer of the Samara–Shymkent highway, six bags and two sacks, presumably containing saiga meat, were found," the committee reported.
