The driver of the vehicle was also held accountable for violating passenger transportation rules and failing to comply with road marking requirements,” the statement said.

The Zhetysu region Police Department noted that the pursuit of popularity on social media should not become a reason to break the law or create a threat to road safety.

The department stressed that such actions pose a danger both to the participants themselves and to other drivers and pedestrians, as well as harm the environment. Bloggers were urged to take responsibility for the content they publish, follow traffic rules and not risk safety for views and likes.
