Tengrinews.kz – YouTube experienced disruptions in Kazakhstan and Russia, with users reporting slow loading times and error messages on the video platform.
According to Downradar, complaints peaked at around 15:00 Astana time, with most reports coming from Astana, Almaty, Petropavl, Moscow, and St. Petersburg. Users said the main page loaded unusually slowly, and videos took longer to play.
Downdetector also recorded outages late on September 4 and into the afternoon of September 5, though the number of complaints decreased over time.
Many users noted that YouTube falsely displayed “no internet connection” errors despite stable access. Statistics showed most problems were related to video playback, website loading, and app functionality.
A day earlier, users in Russia, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Bulgaria, and Poland reported issues with Google services.
