In the latest update, WhatsApp has introduced a new security measure: users can no longer take screenshots or record the screen when viewing another user's profile photos. If you try to take a snapshot, the app automatically blocks this feature.

The same restriction applies to screen recording, so users also cannot create video recordings of other users' profile photos.

The new feature is aimed at enhancing user privacy protection. Developers aim to prevent the downloading and sharing of profile photos by unauthorized parties. Account holders can now be confident that their photos cannot be saved or used without their consent.

By the way, this feature is still available in the web version of WhatsApp.
