Tengrinews.kz - A massive global outage has affected devices running Windows 10, causing disruptions in airports, TV channels, and banks worldwide. Kazakhstan's Ministry of Digital Development has released a statement addressing whether the country's systems were impacted.
The Ministry confirmed that critical infrastructure systems in Kazakhstan remain unaffected.
As of now, there have been no reported disruptions to critical infrastructure or government IT services in Kazakhstan. We have not received any complaints, and all systems are operating normally. Thank you for your attention and for maintaining calm," stated the ministry's press office.
The ministry emphasized that it continues to monitor the situation closely.
Banks, airlines and TV stations in Australia were affected first, before the problem reached Europe.
Downdetector, a website that tracks outages, reported a sharp increase in problems with websites including Microsoft apps, banking sites and airline apps.
