Cars assembled in kostanai demonstrated to the Minister
Kazakhstan Deputy Prime-Minister and Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev saw a car “wedding” in Kostanai, Tengrinews.kz reports. Issekeshev arrived to Kostanai to check on the progress in implementation of investment projects. One of the projects that has already become famous in country and abroad is the line assembling Korean SsangYong cars at Agromashholding (Kazakhstan agricultural vehicles manufacturing company) plant. According to Suk-ho Lim, Managing Director of Overseas sales H.Q. at SsangYong Motor Co., the issue of advancing to the next production stage that involves welding and painting is being discussed with local authorities. Vice Prime-Minister was shown almost the whole process of the car assembling, including connection of the car body with the carrier. This stage is known as the “wedding”. “As I saw today, preparedness for the industrialization program is very high. The process is well-coordinated and the main thing is that this project is real: it provides jobs and creates a high added value. This is not oil and not grain, even though we are in Kostanai. This is a complex technological production,” the Minister noted.
