Nazarbayev and Xi Jinping launch Beineu-Bozoi gas pipeline

Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Chinese President Xi Jinping have launched Beineu-Bozoi pipeline, Tengrinews.kz reports. During the first meeting of the Kazakhstan-Chinese Business Council in Astana the Presidents unveiled the pipeline via a telebridge. Earlier ex-Kazakhstan Minister of Oil and Gas Sauat Mynbayev said it was quite possible that Karachaganak gas would be supplied to China starting from 2015 after construction of Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent section of the pipeline is completed.
