Agglomeration of 4 cities in Kazakhstan to cost $4 bln

Agglomerations of four cities in Kazakhstan will cost $4 billion, Tengrinews correspondent reports citing the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan.

The Ministry informed that agglomerations would be created around Astana, Almaty, Aktobe and Shymkent, and to do this 729.9 billion tenge (about $4 billion) would be allocated as part of the Regions Development Program until 2020.

Earlier Bolat Zhamishev, Chairman of the Board of Development Bank of Kazakhstan, said that all cities in the country would be divided into three categories.
