Medical aviation service is being created in Kazakhstan, KazTAG reports citing Emergency Situations Vice-Minister Valeriy Petrov. “The Ministry of Emergency Situations and Ministry of Healthcare have launched the sanitary aviation using our specially-equipped helicopters. That means people will be able to get medical aid in any remote location of our country,” Petrov said. According to Petrov, 16 helicopters will be bought by 2014. Half of them will be made by Eurocopter and other coppers will be made in Russia. “This year we are opening 6 road medical points to render help in large road accidents on our main roads,” Vice-Minister added. 40 such points are to be opened by 2014. “By 2014 we will be able to render first medical aid to people injured in car accidents in cross-counrty highways within one hour after the accident,” Petrov added.
