Tengrinews.kz - Another medical document has been digitized in Kazakhstan, announced Deputy Minister of Healthcare Yerbol Ospanov.

According to the Deputy Minister, starting January 1, 2025, health records (sanitary books) will be issued only in electronic format.

"There are a vast number of different medical certificates and documents in the healthcare sector. Because of this, citizens have to spend a lot of time waiting in long lines at clinics. It is therefore essential to digitize these documents," the Deputy Minister stated at a Central Communications Service briefing.

He also reported that by 2025, the registration of medical personnel will be fully digitized, along with the transition of eight popular medical certificates to digital format.

Earlier, the Ministry of Healthcare has published an order amending the conditions for consent to receive vaccinations in medical institutions or refusal of it.
