3 pregnant women diagnosed with H1N1 in Kazakhstan

Three cases of H1N1 swine flu have been confirmed in South Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports. Three pregnant women have been diagnosed with the infection. The doctors have not aborted the pregnancy, deputy head of oblast Healthcare Department Balzhan Issabekova said. Meanwhile, another woman was hospitalized in Shymkent with similar symptoms earlier. Doctors failed to save her life. The woman was 22 weeks pregnant. According to preliminary information, she died of pneumonia. Final results of autopsy will be available in two weeks.
