Tengrinews.kz – Kazakhstan’s Bureau of National Statistics has released data on employment and wages for the first quarter of 2025, revealing which sectors offer the highest average monthly salaries.
Topping the list is the auxiliary financial and insurance services sector, where employees earned an average of 1,434,506 tenge per month.
This is followed by professionals working in computer programming and IT consulting, who made an average of 1,329,063 tenge.
Other high-paying sectors included:
- Real estate sales - 1,248,068 tenge
- Management consulting - 1,176,893 tenge
- Pipeline transportation - 1,055,692 tenge
- Insurance, reinsurance, and non-state pension services - 1,045,041 tenge
- Marine and coastal freight transport - 1,042,752 tenge
- Air passenger transport - 1,032,605 tenge
- Water transport - 1,026,145 tenge
- Air transport (general) - 1,022,311 tenge
These figures highlight the country’s most lucrative industries, primarily driven by finance, tech, consulting, and transport.
