Scat pays 3 million tenge to each family of 6 plane crash victims

Scat airline has paid a compensation of 3 million tenge ($20 thousand) to each family of 6 victims of the plane crash near Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the company’s PR Director Viktoriya Ulyanova.According to her, documents on other victims are being collected.Local executive authorities will render support to the families of the victims in the amount of 1 million tenge ($6.7 thousand).On January 29 a Bombardier airplane owned by Scat airline crashed 7km from Almaty airport during its second attempt to land. According to the prosecutors, the plane was performing a Kokshetau-Almaty flight. The accident claimed lives of 5 crew members and 16 passengers including a 2-year-old boy.By Linda Buran
