Kazakhstan targets $15 thousand a year per capita

Kazakhstan is on the threshold of joining the high incomes countries. According to ADB standards, this makes $12 thousand. Considering the inflation, that will reach 13 percent and will have an effect on the calculations, it will mean that the incomes will reach $15 thousand in 2018 in Kazakhstan provided that Kazakhstan maintains the economic growth of 6-7 percent per year,” Guangui Lee said. The ABR also announced its plans to invest around $1.6 billion into Kazakhstan’s infrastructure, in modernization of roads in particular.
