Snow leopard was captured on camera trap in Almaty region

Tengrinews.kz - A snow leopard was captured on camera traps installed at watering sites in the Altyn-Emel National Park in the Almaty region.

As a result, unique footage was obtained of this predator, which is listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"The presence of the snow leopard indicates favorable conditions for wildlife conservation and confirms the effectiveness of the park's environmental protection efforts. Monitoring work continues as part of the state environmental protection program," the national park's statement reads.
