Tengrinews.kz – A video of a snow leopard filmed in the Ile-Alatau National Park has surfaced online.

The footage was shared on the organization’s official Instagram account.

"A rare snow leopard was once again captured by a camera trap, showcasing the unique beauty of wildlife. The footage was recorded between February 7 and 13. It’s important to highlight the work of scientific inspectors who monitor the park territory around the clock and conduct research to preserve biodiversity. Thanks to their efforts and dedicated work, camera traps were installed in the right locations, which made it possible to obtain such impressive results," the committee stated.

The Ile-Alatau National Park is a protected area located near Almaty.
