Tengrinews.kz - A recent video showcasing the stunning Assy Plateau has gone viral, captivating thousands of viewers and sparking widespread interest among travel enthusiasts and nature lovers.
In an interview, video creator Nurshat Uzer shared that he has been creating videos for 6 years, aiming to promote local tourism.
"The video featuring the Assy Plateau is one of many travel snapshots I've captured. We are collaborating with food blogger russokitchen, and one of our goals is to popularize local tourism!
The Assy Plateau is located near Issyk, which is about 70 kilometers from Almaty. Assy is well-known for its diverse landscapes. You start off on a rocky road surrounded by spruces and cliffs, then you're greeted by lush green zhailau, where shepherds peacefully sip tea and herds of horses graze freely as if they were wild," - explained the creator.

"This is mesmerizing," "Beautiful," "Cinematic," "Stylish," "I was born somewhere in the middle of this," "Is this really Kazakhstan?" "This is simply amazing," "Wow, what a view," "This is a masterpiece," - commented the video users.
Traveling along this route, describes Nurshat, one can experience sudden changes in weather.
“If you drive just 1 kilometer towards the Bartogay Reservoir, you might encounter cold mountain rain, and just a bit further, unearthly landscapes open up, rocky mountains that seem straight out of Mars," - noted the author.
Nurshat said, that describing all the beauty of Kazakhstan's nature, especially in the Almaty region, is impossible. Each visit to such places brings new impressions and discoveries. For those planning a trip to the Assy Plateau, Nurshat offered several tips:
- Transport. You can reach Assy only by off-road vehicles, preferably in clear weather, as the road is difficult and rocky. Parts of the road may wash out, so it's best to check with rangers about passage.
- Clothing and food. Bring comfortable clothing and a warm sweater, as the weather can change frequently. Don't forget tea and snacks.
- Nature Conservation. Bring garbage bags and clean up any trash you see, whether it's yours or not.
The author aims to draw attention to the richness and diversity of Kazakhstan's nature. The Assy Plateau, with its changing landscapes and amazing atmosphere, is a great example of how fascinating local journeys can be.
