According to the forecast, unstable weather will persist in most of Kazakhstan over the next three days due to the influence of a cyclone, with precipitation (rain and snow) expected. On October 24, heavy rains are anticipated in the southeastern part of the country, and heavy precipitation (rain, snow) in mountainous areas.
"Increasing wind, fog and icy conditions are expected throughout the country. No significant changes are expected in temperature," the statement says.
Earlier, Kazhydromet warned residents of Almaty and two other cities.
