"A photo trap installed in the Arshaty forestry captured the rare predator. Each such shot reminds us of the importance of protecting the unique natural treasures of Katon-Karagai National Park," the organization’s statement reads.

As is known, a photo trap is an automatic device for photo and video recording, activated by motion within its observation range. It is equipped with a built-in camera and infrared sensors that detect movement and trigger recording.
Thanks to photo traps, we can observe animals in their natural habitats. For example, in early November, a video from Charyn State National Natural Park appeared online, capturing a fox on a photo trap. You can watch it here.
